Recipe of cooking paneer lababdar
Ingredients:
- 200 grams paneer (cottage cheese), cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter) or oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1/2 cup tomato puree
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 cup fresh cream
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnishing)
Instructions:
Heat the ghee or oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add the finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute until the raw smell disappears.
Pour in the tomato puree and cook for 2-3 minutes until the oil starts to separate from the mixture.
Add the red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Mix well and cook for another minute.
Now, add the paneer cubes and gently stir to coat them with the masala. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Stir in the fresh cream and salt. Mix well and let it simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.
Finally, garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Your delicious Paneer Lababdar is now ready to be served! It goes well with naan, roti, or rice. Enjoy your meal!
