Recipe of making burger at home
Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450 grams) ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- Cheese slices (optional)
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Onion slices
- Pickles
- Ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat.
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until the spices are evenly distributed, but avoid overmixing to keep the patties tender.
Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty, about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent it from bulging during cooking.
Place the patties on the preheated grill or pan. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the desired level of doneness is reached. If you prefer your burgers with cheese, you can add a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking.
While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
Once the patties are cooked, transfer them to a plate and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
Assemble the burgers: Take a bottom bun and place a lettuce leaf on it. Add a cooked patty on top of the lettuce. Then, add tomato slices, onion slices, and pickles. If desired, you can spread ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise on the top bun before placing it on top of the burger.
Repeat the assembling process for the remaining burgers.
Serve the burgers immediately while they're still warm and enjoy!
