Recipe of cooking ramen noodles
Ingredients:
- 2 packs of ramen noodles
- 4 cups of water
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of miso paste (optional)
- 2 teaspoons of sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 soft-boiled eggs (optional)
- Sliced roasted pork (chashu) or chicken (optional)
- Nori seaweed sheets, cut into thin strips (optional)
Instructions:
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the ramen noodles to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions until they are tender. This usually takes about 3-5 minutes.
- While the noodles are cooking, prepare the soup base. In a separate bowl, combine the soy sauce, miso paste (if using), and sesame oil. Mix well to dissolve the miso paste.
- Once the noodles are cooked, drain them and set them aside.
- In the same pot, pour the soup base mixture and add the cooked ramen noodles back into the pot. Stir gently to coat the noodles with the soup base.
- Bring the pot back to a simmer, allowing the noodles to soak up the flavors of the soup for a couple of minutes.
- Divide the ramen noodles into serving bowls. Top with chopped green onions, sliced roasted pork or chicken, soft-boiled eggs (halved), and nori seaweed strips, if desired.
- Serve the ramen noodles hot and enjoy!
Feel free to customize your ramen noodles by adding other toppings such as bean sprouts, corn, bamboo shoots, or any other ingredients you like. You can also adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences.
