Recipe of cooking Garlic and oregano Chicken
cooking garlic and oregano chicken:
Ingredients:
- 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh oregano leaves, chopped2 spoon Smoked parikahalf cup fresh cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, chopped oregano leaves, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
3. Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure it's well-coated. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator. For better flavor, you can marinate it for up to 24 hours.
4. Heat a large oven-safe skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Add a little oil if needed.
5. Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting any excess marinade drip off. Reserve the remaining marinade for later use.
6. Place the chicken breasts in the hot skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they develop a golden brown color.
7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
8. While the chicken is baking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan and bring it to a simmer over medium heat. Let it cook for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
9. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
10. Serve the garlic and oregano chicken with the simmered marinade as a sauce on the side. You can garnish it with fresh oregano leaves if desired.
Enjoy your flavorful garlic and oregano chicken!
